Money is not the only thing that can boost Wisconsin’s economy.
But it does help, according to the Wisconsin Technology Council, which this week issued a report titled “The future is now: Four strategies for Wisconsin’s high-growth economy.”
In addition to increasing access to capital for entrepreneurs, the state needs to focus on its workforce, improve broadband and high-speed computing networks and concentrate on sectors that produce jobs, the report outlines.
“Our board is made up of people who understand Wisconsin’s tech economy from a variety of angles,” Tom Still, president of the Tech Council, said in a statement. “Their ideas, along with those contributed by our members across the state, form the foundation for this report.”
