The Wisconsin Technology Council announced today that Terry Sivesind will receive the 2018 Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education award at the 2018 Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, happening Nov. 7-8 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.
According to a release, the “Triple E” award was established to highlight the importance of entrepreneurial education.
“Terry Sivesind’s contributions over time have touched company growth, investment, mentoring and education, all of which are necessary for a healthy ecosystem,” Tech Council President Tom Still said in a statement.
Sivesind has co-founded six life sciences companies such as PanVera, Renovar and Cellectar Biosciences and three other entrepreneur/investment organizations including Wisconsin Investment Partners and Madison Entrepreneur Resource, Learning and Innovation Network (MERLIN) and MadWorks Seed Business Accelerator.
Previous award winners include Allen Dines and Jan Eddy.
