The Center for Technology Commercialization and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced recently that Thalchemy Corporation is the recipient of a $75,000 SBIR Advance grant.
According to a release, the Madison-based tech company plans to use the advance to speed up the commercialization process of its motion sensors that will enable devices to respond to users’ movements without draining the battery life.
SBIR Advance grants are used for commercialization activities that will accelerate business development and improve company opportunities for Phase 1B, Phase 2 and Phase 3 federal awards and for investor funding.
