The annual Transcend Madison startup competition for University of Wisconsin students will take place April 10 and 12, organizers announced recently.

The university’s first student-led innovation competition includes prizes worth more than $55,000. For a team to maintain its eligibility, they must attend the intellectual property seminar and project review session, plus an optional but highly recommended pitch coaching session.

Applications can be done here until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16.

Past winners have included Crib, Nudge and Drip Drinks.
