Understory is now partnering with the Engineering Research Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere Program (CASA), the company announced recently.
According to a release, Understory will be working on CASA’s City Warn project, which unites private and public weather networks in North Texas.
“Understory is able to contribute AI-driven proprietary data to CASA’s pilot project, which seeks to revolutionize the human ability to observe, understand, predict and respond to hazardous weather,” Understory CEO Alex Kubicek said in a statement.
More than 1,000 first responders and emergency managers in 50 Dallas-Fort Worth locations will be involved in the pilot program.
