Nov. 4 – Entrepreneur Resource Workshop
Reps from gener8tor and Capital Entrepreneurs will be hanging out from 6-7 p.m. at the American Family Insurance DreamBank to discuss how to get involved with their respective organizations and discover new ways to grow your business. Free to attend.
Nov. 5 – Exploring Entrepreneurship
WWBIC will be hosting this free event from 9:30 a.m. – noon at the Dane County Job Center. Learn the personal considerations to starting your own business, how to conduct market research and how to judge if your idea is financially feasible.
Nov. 12-13 – Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium
The annual event, held at the Monona Terrace, includes the Elevator Pitch Olympics, the SBIR/STTR awards luncheon and a keynote presentation by Kevin Conroy of Exact Sciences. General admission is $249.
Nov. 20 – Assessing Madison’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem & Investment Opportunities
Hear from five investors, including John Neis of Venture Investors, who will discuss Madison’s progress toward achieving a culture of entrepreneurship from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. No cost to attend; hosted by the Advocacy Consortium for Entrepreneurs.
