Area entrepreneurs, as well as UW students, faculty and staff, are invited to a free networking event for startups, held 2-4 p.m. Sept. 5 at 1403 University Ave., organizers announced recently.

Attendees will be given a tour of the building, which houses D2P and Madworks Coworking at UW Campus, and have an opportunity to learn what resources are available to their startup from the host organizations, which include Merlin Mentors and the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic.

Afterward the event, guests are invited to a reception from 4-5:30 p.m. at Steenbocks on Orchard.
