The WARF Discovery Challenge is accepting entries from University of Wisconsin graduate students and post-doctoral researchers from all departments for the two-part research competition, organizers announced recently.
Abstracts for the Research Symposium–an event on April 12 that brings researchers together to exchange ideas and identify potential cross-disciplinary collaborators–is Feb. 24. Similar to last year, participants will compete for cash prizes.
Part II is the Research Award Competition and will take place this fall. Scientists submit original, collaborative research ideas, with the winning proposal receiving a research award of up to $7,500 to fund the project.
