The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) will introduce its new Chief Venture Officer Michael Partsch on Nov. 7 during the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, the organization announced today.

According to a release, Partsch, who holds more than 25 years of venture capital and startup development experience, will lead WARF’s efforts to invest in startup companies and product ideas tied to the University of Wisconsin.

Partsch comes to WARF from the San Francisco area after being at AcceleMed Management for 11 years.

The annual Early Stage Symposium takes place Nov. 7-8 at the Monona Terrace.
