The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is accepting applications through Oct. 26 from nonprofit and community-based organizations for its Entrepreneurship Support Program, designed to advance the statewide climate for entrepreneurship, the organization announced today.

“This program has made a real difference in supporting Wisconsin’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by filling resource gaps, launching new initiatives and building strong community networks,” WEDC Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Aaron Hagar said in a statement.

According to a release, the program provides financial assistance between $10,000 and $100,000 for projects that promote entrepreneurship and provide Wisconsin entrepreneurs with key resources, including training, mentorship, business development and financial services.

The funding can be used for personnel, professional services and materials directly related to the project.

Applications can be done online.
