The State of Wisconsin, through the Center for Technology Commercialization, ranked third in the country for highest NIH SBIR/STTR success rate, the organization announced recently.
According to a release, Wisconsin boasted a 23 percent success rate of submissions from 2008-2017. During that time, 1,056 NIH SBIR/STTR proposals were submitted, and the 248 that were successful garnered average funding of $8,712,303 per year.
Oregon had the highest rating at 29 percent, followed by Vermont with 25 percent. California boasted the highest average funding, at $77,557,735.
