The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center helped 258 companies get their start and secured more than $100 million in capital in the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, according to an annual impact report by the organization.
The report also shows the SBDC, a program of the UW-Extension Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, offered free consultations to 2,239 small business owners and entrepreneurs and trained 4,567 people in business topics.
As of press time, the report had not yet been uploaded to the SBDC website.
