The sixth annual Wisconsin Science Festival, taking place Oct. 20-23 at various locations around Madison and the state, is looking for campus groups to participate, organizers announced today.
“Participating in the Wisconsin Science Festival is tremendous exposure,” Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation Director of Programming Laura Heisler said in a statement. “It’s an opportunity for our campus partners to talk about their research, open up their labs and perhaps make a difference in someone’s life.”
According to a release, the groups can take part by hosting a program or open house at their location and/or lead a station as part of the Discovery Expo at the Discovery Building all four days of the festival.
Participation in the festival is free. The deadline for campus groups to submit a proposal is June 17.
