The Wisconsin Innovation Awards named its four winners of the annual event that celebrates Wisconsin’s most innovative products and services.
Three of the companies hail from Madison–OnLume Surgical, Date Check Pro and the Madison Reading Project–while Safeli is based in Shorewood.
“The Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to celebrate and inspire innovation and highlight the creative spirit from the state’s leading public, private and nonprofit sectors,” Wisconsin Innovation Awards Co-Founder Matt Younkle said in a statement. “We want to congratulate all finalists and winners from the 2020 Wisconsin Innovation Awards and look forward to encouraging an even greater environment of innovation in the year to come.”
According to a release, the winners were selected by a panel of 30 judges and chosen from nearly 400 nominees.
The virtual event, emceed by The Effective Communication Coach President Denise Thomas, also featured a live panel discussion with the winners and highlighted specific Wisconsin businesses who have responded to the COVID-19 crisis.
