The Wisconsin Innovation Awards, an annual event that celebrates Wisconsin’s most innovative products and services that was held Tuesday at the UW Memorial Union, revealed its nine winners, with four hailing from Madison.
According to a release, the winners were selected by a panel of 27 judges and chosen from more than 330 nominees. Understory won the Business to Business category, Curate took home the Government category, EnsoData in HealthIT and the nonprofit category winner was Black Oxygen. Each are based in Madison.
“The Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to celebrate and inspire innovation and highlight the creative spirit from the state’s leading public, private and nonprofit sectors,” Wisconsin Innovation Awards Co-Founder Matt Younkle said in a statement. “We want to congratulate all finalists and winners from the 2021 Wisconsin Innovation Awards and look forward to encouraging an even greater environment of innovation in the year to come.”
The event was emceed by television personality and local entrepreneur Marie Justice.
