Winnow Fund, part of the Badger Fund of Funds, has raised $6 million to begin investing in startups and collaborating with entrepreneurs at colleges and universities across the state, the organization announced today.

According to a release, the Badger Fund of Funds was the lead investor and was joined by The Capital Times, Johnsonville Ventures and other companies. The Winnow Fund is the fourth fund in the Badger Fund of Funds to start investing, with the investment period beginning in November.

Richelle Martin leads the seed-stage venture capital fund, which announced last year that it raised $3.5 million.
