After a year off, the Wisconsin School of Business Business Plan Competition has returned, the school announced recently.
Formerly known as the G. Steven Burrill Business Plan Competition, the annual event has a registration deadline of Friday, with business plans due March 31 and competition (pitch) day April 28.
The winner of the competition receives $10,000, followed by $7,000 for second place, $4,000 for third place and $1,000 for fourth place.
Tixora won the most recent competition that took place in 2015.
The business plan competition began in 1998 but concluded in 2015 due to “budgetary constraints,” the School of Business announced at the time.
