Zerology today announced that it has selected Trov to provide insurance for its carshare fleet.

According to a release, Zerology will use Trov’s technology platform to establish a known risk profile that will enable better risk mitigation and reduce costs.

“From the beginning, we felt Trov understood our services and technology platform, helping tailor an insurance plan to fit our digital transportation products,” Zerology CEO Shree Kalluri said in a statement. “With Trov, we are optimizing coverage depending on the movement of our vehicles. That results in significant cost savings to provide our customers with affordable shared mobility solutions.”

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Last October, Zerology partnered with Green Cab to replace its fleet with Tesla Model 3s. It has since acquired Green Cab.
